A land of water. Is that a contradiction? Or perhaps a quickening reality that many who still have the luxury, choose to ignore? Streams, eddies, lakes, rivers, floods, torrential rains. Sometimes it was hard to tell where the water ended and the earth and air began.

Bangladesh

All around me the people boated, waded, washed, carried, ferried, and swam. And the river banks wept, mists curled, and the rain kept falling, every day, day after day. Monsoon.
Floods, rising tides, stifling humidity. So many people with so little. Living just above a rising waterline.
