Cambodia

The sun broke over mountains of carved stone and I was transported to a ruined kingdom of coloured silks and heavenly nymphs.
Giant trees swallowing temples, climbing crocodiles, floating lotus prayers, lingas lining holy rivers, countless Buddhas. I tied a red thread and was sheathed in the serenity of Angkor.
